About UNIiDIFF & CareKin
UNIiDIFF LLC (shown on Google Play as UNIiDIFF) develops and publishes the CareKin mobile application. This page explains how to permanently delete your CareKin account and the personal data associated with it.
Account deletion is permanent. Deactivation (temporary pause) is available in the app if you may return later.
How to Request Account Deletion
Choose either method below. Both are free. We may ask you to confirm your registered email for identity verification.
Option A — In the CareKin app (recommended)
- Open the CareKin app and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Read the confirmation screen, then type delete my account to confirm.
- Submit your request. You will be signed out once the request is accepted.
Option B — By email (without opening the app)
Email us from the address linked to your CareKin account:
Subject: Account Deletion Request - CareKin (UNIiDIFF)
Include: your registered email address and, if possible, your account phone number.

| Within 90 days | Data removed from backups and archives (unless a legal hold applies) |
A confirmation email is sent when deletion is processed. Account freezing or deactivation alone does not count as deletion.
Data That Is Deleted
When your account is deleted, we delete or anonymise the following, subject to the timeline above:
- Account registration data (name, email, phone number, date of birth, gender, location/county)
- Profile information (photo, bio, journey stage)
- Community posts, replies, and comments you created
- Support group and channel membership records
- Direct and group messages you sent (message content and metadata)
- Marketplace listings and enquiries tied to your account
- Push notification tokens and in-app preference settings
- Raw behavioural event logs linked to your account
Data That May Be Kept (and why)
- Anonymised aggregate analytics — may be retained beyond 90 days when it no longer identifies you (e.g. total feature usage counts)
- Content moderation & safety records — reports, enforcement actions, and related message excerpts may be kept up to 2–5 years where required for community safety, fraud prevention, or legal compliance
- Security logs — authentication and abuse-prevention logs may be kept up to 2 years
- Legal holds — data subject to court orders, regulatory investigations, or active legal proceedings may be retained until the hold is lifted; we will inform you where permitted by law
- Support correspondence about your deletion request — kept up to 3 years from last interaction for audit purposes
Deactivate Instead of Delete?
To temporarily pause your account without permanent deletion: Settings → Account → Deactivate Account in the CareKin app. Your profile is hidden but you can return without starting over.
